After losing his father at a young age Dodger becomes overly attached to the rest of his family, as well as suffering anxiety at the thought of being alone. He craves almost constant human interaction, often as a distraction from his own thoughts and impulses. He's afraid of what he would become if he was left alone. - Commitment
Seems a bit contradictory to the last fear, but this mostly applies to romantic relationships. He gets cold feet very early on in most relationships, as he fears becoming emotionally vulnerable to anyone who could potentially leave him. - Disappointing his family
His grandmother, Calliope, is a very strict and demanding woman. Dodger suffers a bit of paranoia over falling out of her favor.

Dodger's first and only true love. Ballet is his obsession, but he is also passionate about tap, traditional dances, ballroom dances, and so on. - Music & Theater

Honestly he loves nothing more than when everyone around him is paying attention to him, and he will often do whatever he can to keep that attention. - Exercising
Physical activity is his method for dealing with his predisposition to addiction, and any unwanted impulses. It helps him to clear his head as well as stay in good shape. I'd say this is more of a necessity for him than just something he enjoys. - Reading
Before he had the entertainment of dance and the opera, books filled his need for excitement, adventure, and drama. He still loves reading, even if his brother scoffs at him for reading nothing but fiction. He's a bit of a snob when it comes to literature.

This may seem hypocritical coming from a hitman, but he would never harm anyone without sufficient reason- generally them being a bad person or putting others in danger is a good enough reason for him. He is also especially likely to confront any type of sexism due to his fierce respect and admiration of the women in his family. - His brother
Dodger's younger brother Demetri is his polar opposite. They used to be very close, but eventually he shut Dodger out, and he has never forgiven this betrayal.

- Sybelle Arado - cousin:
They only met each other a few times during early childhood, but when Dodger is 14 and she moves to Central City they become much closer. He considers Belle his closest friend and ally, especially after losing the companionship of his brother. Despite their differences they are extremely compatible and work very well together. - Margaret Arado - cousin:
Margaret continues to live in East City, and so they do not see each other often, but Dodger has been known to dote on his younger cousin. He considers her more of a younger sister and always brings gifts when he visits. - Annabelle Arado - aunt:
Sybelle and Margaret's mother. He grew up a bit resentful towards her for leaving the family and keeping him from his cousins, but as he grew up he began to better understand the situation. They get along well, even if she doesn't approve of his lifestyle. - Calliope Delphi - paternal grandmother:
His grandmother has probably had the biggest influence on his life. As his father was very close with her he pretty much grew up in her home. She has always looked after him and kept him out of trouble, and in return he spends his life trying to please her. - Thalia Delphi - great aunt:
Calliope's twin sister. She lives in Aerugo, and Dodger has only met her a handful of times. - Lambros Delphi - father:
A very warm and loving man who did everything he could for his sons, right up until his death when Dodger is about 6 years old. - Viola Delphi - mother:
Daughter of a very wealthy family, relative of the man who invented the first automobile. She loves her husband and sons more than anything in the world, and while she stays out of Calliope's business, she is always willing to lend a hand. Dodger is a huge mamma's boy. - Demetri Delphi - brother:
During childhood Dodger and Demetri were inseparable, Dodger always looked out for his younger brother and Demetri looked up to him. As they grew up Demetri quickly surpassed his brother in intelligence, becoming the prodigy of the family and driving a wedge between the two. The final blow came in Dodger's early 20's when Demetri refused to keep feeding his gambling addiction- resulting in a huge falling out between the two. While things have calmed down for the most part they still refuse to talk.

- Madeline:
One of Madame Christmas' informants- all of whom he considers a kind of extended family- but Madeline has always been especially kind to him, and he often goes to her with his problems after Belle moves away. - William Moore "Slim":
A country boy from the south that Dodger cheated out of all his money during a pool match. Slim returned to confront him and consequently kicked Dodger's ass- as well as shooting him in his side. Needless to say Dodger recovered and they were best of friends after that. - Doyle Boucher:
Under a very loose definition of friend- Dodger doesn't necessarily like being a third wheel to his own cousin, but he's one of the few people left who will humor his con schemes and Dodger appreciates him for that. He also respects the man for his ambition and success. (Not that he's jealous or anything)
Enemies:
- The Red Hand:
The Delphi family's largest competition- another syndicate to the west grappling for control of Central City. It is led by a man named Virgil Graves. - Amestrian Military:
The Delphi family works in part for the military, providing well trained spies and valuable information in return for a blind eye turned towards their dealings, but their relationship is a fragile one, and Dodger especially has a deep hatred for the organization that killed his father.

- Chris Mustang:
An old friend of his grandmother's. She often lets him hang out around her Inn. They work together on occasion. - Roy Mustang:
Dodger is only a year older than Roy, and they went to the same school for the entirety of their childhood, but they never really became friends. Dodger always thought he was a bit of a pansy. (Not that he'd ever mention that to Chris)

Probably the only woman he trusts and has an emotional connection to that he isn't related to. - Flings with numerous other women
- Sorry Doyle, Dodger would prefer not to consider you a flame, as that was bribery and also he is still (mostly) straight (but it happened anyway)

Childhood
- Born into a wealthy family in Central City, where he is raised in close proximity to his grandmother's illicit business dealings.
- Loses his father at the age of 6.
- Has a lot of trouble focusing in school.
Adolescence
- Is reunited with his cousin from the east.
- Begins working for their grandmother, spends even less time focusing on school work, but still manages to graduate.
- Discovers the wonders of dance, which really helps him to practice control.
Adulthood
- Begins working as a hitman for his family, as well as training the new recruits (AKA the orphans Calliope has taken in)
- Also teaches the kids ballet because why not. Its good to have a wide range of experiences to draw from.
- Occasionally runs drugs and weapons across the Aerugonian border.
- Basically he keeps pretty busy working for the family.
