RIDDLE ME THIS BATMAN!!

It was a sunny day in downtown Gotham; the streets were bustling with traffic trying to make their appointments

and people walking and rushing though the mobs of street goers, trying to reach their jobs on time before they

yelled at by their bosses. It was a normal day for Gothamites, not having a clue that something very wrong was

happening very soon. Batman and Robin were on their afternoon patrol, since Robin had gotten done his homework

early. As they drove downtown, on the lookout for evil in any of its forms, the whole city was at a standstill as

they heard something huge fly over the city. As the Batmobile came to a stop from traffic, the Boy Wonder looked

up and said: "Holy skywriter!! Look Batman!!" A giant white missile roared up into the sky, flying straight up and

over the heart of the city. Once it reached a certain height, it exploded but with a twist. "Gosh Batman.. That

crazy missile wrote something in the sky!!" Robin said, amazed at what happened. "It must be another heinous

plot from our old friend.. The Riddler!!" Batman said as the duo looked on at the messages written in smoke. "WHAT

KIND OF FORTUNE CAN BE FOUND IN THE BATHTUB???" Batman read out loud. "Bars of gold soap!!" Robin said

as he snapped his fingers and looks at his mentor. "Excellent Robin.. Now for the second one.. 'HOW DOES A

TYPEWRITER TRAP A ROBBER??'" "I got it!! You write him into a brick wall!! But gosh Batman, what does it mean??

What could the Riddler possibly want??" asked the perplexed Boy Wonder. "Think about for a minute Robin, what

do bathroom items, a typewriter and robbery have in common??" the caped crusader asked as he gathered his wits.

"Hmm.. Does it have to do with the new exhibit near the wharf? The one with the famous author who wrote the story

of Needles the Snitch in a gold plated book in his bathtub??" Robin said as he gently stroked his chin. "Good, but no

Robin.. That exhibit won't be ready until the fall. But you are on the right track old chum." Batman exclaimed. "Gosh

Batman.. I thought I had it! Hmm.. Could it be that he's after the newest Millionaire Billy Tubbs, the famous writer of

the 'Golden Robber'??" Robin expressed. "Exactly Boy Wonder!! He's obviously hatching a nefarious plot to kidnap the

poor fellow and try to force him to write a biography of his twisted life and sell it for millions!", Batman explained to

his ward. "Holy Plot twist Batman! We have to warn Commissioner Gordon and get to Mr. Tubbs right away!!" Robin

shouted. "Right Robin. To the Commissioner's office, we have no time to lose!!" Batman said as he backed up, looked

behind him, using his turning signal and made a legal U-turn and drove without haste to stop this foul scheme...
