Hey, don't look at me, I didn't chipped his nose! And I think that it is Sphinx of Amenhotep III - but don't quote me on that, it was almost ten years since I took this photo, so I don't remember. But you can always compare cartouche seen of this Sphinx, with Amenhotep's cartouche...And it's very nice to see someone who like ancient Egypt!

So, you are real Indiana Jones - you unveil mysteries of the past! It turns out that I was wrong and this sphinx is much older than I thought - middle kingdom, instead of new kingdom! I'm genuinely surprised that this kind of artistic brilliance, was achieved long before times of new kingdom.

Even Old Kingdom, probably. Possibly even 4th dynasty.
Yeah actually, the greatest art and achievements originated in the Old Kingdom.
