Description Shhh....

Wild likes lineart. Making solid lines is very soothing
This is a combination of everything I love... flowy dresses, lace, ribbons, corsets, bows, flowers, and fun shoes. Hehehehe

I'm so submit-savvy lately.

*blink* *blink*
I want that dress.
And the shoes too.... I love your drawing style.
And going off what JL said-I think there is a major progress in your work-or from what I've seen in your earlier submissions. Your detail is just great.

*gets all warm and fuzzy inside*
Thank you
I kept all of my sketchbooks from middleschool, and I was looking at them, and I SUCKED SOOOOOO BADLY.
But I thought that I was just so excellent, and that seems to happen all the time. A drawing I drew last month now seems horrible.
But it feels good, because progress is what makes art worth it

And I want the dress too. I just wish I could walk out in public, frilly and lacy everywhere. I would be sooo cool 8)

With drawings and such its been quite the opposite with me. When I was younger I was in my opinion a good drawer and now I can't draw worth crap-I've been so out of practice... but I know what you mean. You write or draw something and then its seems brilliant and you look back on it some years later and you get so embarrassed about it. lol.

Ha-people would look at me so weird if I wore a dress like that. Oh well though... lol. It would be a great costume though... Have you ever done costume design?

I haven't, actually. My friends say I should since that's mostly what I draw. Dresses, lacy dresses, flowery dresses, corsets, lacy things... etc. Hehe. My mom is actually a pseudo costume designer for the Boulder Ballet, and she did some Colorado Ballet stuff once. This is one of the reasons I hate tutus. Tooooooo many have graced our house for them to be welcome.
*glares at the bolts of tule in our house*

My sister's the same; she used to draw a lot, but then just... stopped. She's sad she did, though. It seems like a lot of people just feel forced to choose an art form. Ex: JL gave up drawing for writing, my sister gave up drawing for ballet, okay, so those are my only examples thus far, but you get my drift, wow, i'm using waaaayyyy too many commas.
Time=Half past one limits my grammatical abilities.
I myself seem to put drawing in front of writing, although I wouldn't give up writing ever.

Gahhh... so....tired...

Heh. My dear you should go to sleep. lol

I'm sad that I gave up drawing but at the same time I think it was worth-while to do it for theatre stuff. And I think at the same time its a balancing act... you can do multiple things.

Your family seems like a very artistic family. I'm not particulary fond of ballet... too much discipline and etiquette. and yes, never liked the tutu's either.
I absolutely love tap-dancing though.

Hehe. I did ballet for a few years, just because my mom made the costumes and my sister was doing it.
I hated technique class, which was every wednesday. What really got me was that I could BEND my KNEES
It was all, straight leg this, and flat back that.
I was watching a ballet the other day with my friends (we're just that cool), and it was a dance between a man and a woman, and you knew that he wanted to touch her, because they were all in love and what not, but he didn't. All he could do was hold her waist when she spun, gazing lovingly, and hold her thigh in a lift. You knew he wanted to pin her to the ground, hold her tight, just touch her, act naturally, but he couldn't. They were literally dancing around eachother, and I realized that one reason I like acting so much. You act on your emotions, act on your impulses, and create real live tension as opposed to being a marionette with a pretty face and no emotion.
It doesn't flow. They'll all say I'm wrong, they'll all say it's beautiful, but it's beautiful in that way that a porcelain doll is beautiul. She's admired, but always placed far off on a shelve up high so the children don't touch her. She's realistic looking, but too perfect, too pure, and so much that it's almost sinister.
It's not real to me; I will cry when the swan dies, but I won't feel my stomach clench. Nothing physical, nothing that really stops my breathing.

The grammar gods hate me.

When I was young my parents made me do ballet. I don't remember that much about it though. All I remember is that I absolutely hated it and threw screaming tantrums everytime I had to go... and I remember the last day I went to. I think I fell on my face and starting crying and refused to dance. This last year I had to do ballet again though... its part of the dance requirements the university has us do.

That scene sounds really amazing to watch. What ballet was it by the way? I think what makes good acting is the abilitly to make things (emotions/actions/feelings/ect) real and believable and to feel things yourself... its your capacity to feel emotions. And I found that you can learn a lot about life through acting and vice-versia. Its also one of the many reasons I love acting.

Yeah, it was really quite a cool ballet. It was called 'C'est La Vie', and one of my friends composed the music to it. It was pretty cool.

I agree. Acting really does teach you about life.
...
I know I have more to say, but I'm too tired. I was building these crazy huge shelf thingies for my mom's shop all day, and for the first time in my life, my knees are aching. I never knew how horrible it was! Poor people with knee problems!

Heh. Sounds like hard work building shelves... Must of been a productive day though.

I hate this time-change thing-going back to the States from England. I should be tired but I'm really not. Have a good night.

Hehe. I want them too, but I'd probably trip all the time. I seem to lack the agility, grace, and skill necessary to not make a fool of myself in high heels.
