Description PLEASE FULL VIEW.

Most of these are actually not new at all, I just haven't uploaded them here (and a couple of them not anywhere else)

I don't feel like saying much, someday I'll get this game completed Hopefully I can get some work done on it over this summer, I've been major slacking on it lately.

All artwork except for the sprites has been done by myself. The sprites are a community resource available for non commercial use, and modified by myself.

For more information on the game go to: [link] (except its nowhere near updated so I'm leaving it empty for now, just ask if anyone's actually curious)

The tiles are beautiful, it's been quite a long time since I have seem well-built structure on tilesets like this one.

However, I think I should say what I disliked too.

First, the borders of the Ice wall top...they're like..I don't know, the curl-effect it appears to have are not my fav choice, just personal taste.
Yet at the Icy screen, the fire could be a little darker..I think.

On to the screen of the mysterious-creeps me out-dark dungeon, the floor borders would be more "harmonious" with a purpler color..imo.

And THE THING i wanna ask you...Why don't use lightning/dark effects? You know, even not-so-pretty graphics can make it far with a good ilumination effect...just imagine these nice tiles you have here? Anyways, maybe it was an author's choice upload a clean of effects screen...

Well, its an awesome job, keep it up...or not...but I would like to play in such graphics.

Good good luck, and hope my poor english can make u understand my little pile of opinions.

Thankya

I admire that you are doing your own tileset for your game. I have just recently started and finished trees for a tileset for our game as well. It can be really difficult I must say. I am looking forward on this one and hopefully I can play a demo ^^. Will you sell this commercially?

D-e-n-a In reply to lyxven [2010-06-01 04:38:37 +0000 UTC]

Trees are by far the hardest part of any tileset I think >.>

The current plan is for it to be a free indie game. I'd try commercial...but it's a lot of work for 1 person, and I use several community resources currently that would need to be replaced by myself. I only work on this in my spare time though, and I'm actually quite behind to be completely honest, so no demo anytime soon ;_;

Ahh yes I understand for the most part that working on a game undermanned is really hard. Is your story complete? I believe you can pull it off for commercial if you can have a team work with you? Your game looks promising and I'd really love to play it hehe

D-e-n-a In reply to lyxven [2010-07-01 20:26:04 +0000 UTC]

The story is complete, yeah, just that all of it isn't written down yet. I could probably pull it off commericial with a team, but getting a decent team put together from the rpg maker community is a challenge itself. For Now I'm just keeping it to myself and working on it as a hobby.

the desert / sand looks great - the others lack a bit of quality...

is it for a touchscreen device?

keep up the good work!

D-e-n-a In reply to sirleto [2010-05-22 00:22:17 +0000 UTC]

The desert one is my most recent, I've gotten better at making the tilesets as I've went along.

It was sort of a mock up of how it would look like on a touch screen device. Unfortunately it's being built in RPG maker XP which isn't portable to anything else.

OMG this is such a creatve design. The backgrounds are so artistic and the charrcters so origional. I beleive this would make a greate flash game and could even be produced into a national one. Yes, some of the graphics are a bit choppy, but otherwise this is a great example of how to make your game stylish and creative. Please keep up the work!

D-e-n-a In reply to Cloudandis [2010-05-18 01:12:23 +0000 UTC]

Hey, Thank you for that! about the comments on the game itself it's builty in rpg maker xp, and not flash. Not sure what you mean about 'national', but the plan right now is to have it a non-profit free indie game on release.

What I mean is that many people would desire those for their own games. XD Either way, I like it a lot. =3

D-e-n-a In reply to NuclearD00d [2010-05-18 01:07:43 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of them when the head is more than half of the sprite. I think Mack's template (these) is about right for this style though.

Wow, really your tilesets are nice 'o'

Good luck for your idea, it looks really nice. Your idea is make something like a Zelda game?

D-e-n-a In reply to namira-chan [2010-05-15 18:21:58 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!

It's actually a tactical based rpg (think FFT battle system), however it includes open roaming areas and dungeons such as these here.

Well... I need to develop my Script to also start a tactical game. But I am busy on the Danmaku system now... So I don't have time .o.

I'm using Gubid's TBS, I'd definately look into seeing if you can adapt that for your own use before you start your own system from scratch.

No, I can't. I use RPG Maker VX.

I just need inspiration to finish and correct lots of errors that my systems can have

Either way, good luck with finishing!
