Description This picture is of the skunk tail fully constructed and the seams have been reinforced on the inside.

The valve where the air goes in and and out cannot be seen as it is on the underside of the curve at the top of the tail, nicely hidden.

As you can see all of this has attached flawlessly to the base of the body suit and here it is inflate.

My personal gripe with this is that the valve keeps popping out. I removed a beach ball air valve to use with this costume and the stupid thing keeps popping out of the latex. Put a slight bit of pressure on it. POP! The valve goes flying and the tail deflates.

If anyone has any idea how I can secure the valve properly I will be very thankful for your advice. Until then deflating the tail is really easy but it requires repair after every deflate.

I’d love to buy this, and maybe reenforce the valve

Cool tail, as for the valve issue, two suggestions: first if you can find a larger valve with more material to attach, that will decrease stress on the overall joint. If you have a pool store nearby, they sell patch kits for pool liners that seem to work well on vinyl.

The other thing is if you can set the valve from inside instead of outside, air pressure will help it adhere a little better...

Good luck! -^^-
