ah I wish I could read kanji better, I've only just started learning...
anyways 6 tailed kitsune looks absolutely fabulous. that pose is very similar to poses that foxes actually make when they are hunting, the coloring is gorgeous the headdress and details really accentuate the fox's foxiness, and everything flows asthetically well together. I love it!

It's a beautiful picture, and I love the texture.
However, for me personally, it seems to have a conflicting impression. You use such warm and soft colours, and fox's expression is gentle, yet the kanji says "evil-spirit", which contradicts the image... Just my opinion, but it makes the picture unclear.

So true it is a bit contradictory. I haven't really gotten the hang of drawing expressions yet, especially on animals. Here I was going for a sly or sneaky look and instead this kitsune looks either bored or motherly to me (and undoubtedly female when I was going for unisex

At first look you want to say NineTails but I understand that it is not after looking at it. Love the smooth shading in the fur and the overall feeling the image evokes.
