edit - Alternate version: Don't judge a movie by its book as requested by =Aquarior .edit - Changed the font.
I read that sentence into a Reader's Digest and I thought it would make a nice stamp.
Then I discovered that somebody had already done a similar stamp here , but I decided to submit this one anyway.

oh, a bit of a joke, i read the how to train your dragon series and watched the movies, they are both so far apart from eachother that you dont go saying "oh, dis shiz wasnt in the book" but close enough you can say "oh cool, so that's what they made [character] look like instead of [other character]" mainly tho it's cuz they made toothless 1: less useless, and 2: fricken awesome

sometimes the movie adaptations are better than the book too. For one, I personally find the How to Train Your Dragon and How to Eat Fried Worms movies much better than the original books. I think those adaptations were given overhauls for a good reason, but that's me.
But then we have things like the Percy Jackson movies.....

Agreed, I'm not as much as a fan of the Harry Potter movies but I love the books, although the movies are good sometimes.

Exactly my thoughts on Twilight. Twilight is a great book. Just because the movie contained so much sex and whatnot doesn't mean the book is exactly the same - I've read Twilight and you'll just never guess how much the director had added so many things in the movie that's irrelevant to the book.
