Aaaand we're done! I had a lot of fun with this character, I think shading all those lovely curls was my favorite part! I hope you guys like him. :>**************
Updating to show some progress! Still working on this right now, hoping to make some decent progress on the background tonight.

Hi everyone, I promise I'm not dead! I have several things that are half done but nothing ready to post, hence the lack of uploads for the last week. I forgot my in-laws were coming to town so I didn't have time for anything this weekend haha. It was a nice visit though, they're really nice people. :>
Anyways here are some lines for a trade of sorts I'm doing with I hope to finish in the next day or two! I got a call this morning and unexpectedly picked up an extra ten full days at the office this month so that kind of throws my art schedule for a massive loop. I'm usually too tired to do art in the evenings after work but I'mma try and suck it up this month. I made sure to mark myself as unavailable on my birthday though so I've got one day guaranteed free for fun (art. haha)

Thank you! I use Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 4 for all my colored works. :> It's a little out of date but it still gets the job done!

Haha yeah I had to adjust my mindset and let myself get into it. Once I did it was actually really fun! I was worried it'd be annoyingly tricky but it didn't crack my brain like I thought it would. :b

I absolutely love the slightly downward perspective, and how he seems to really pop out from that contrast of the dim background. AND THOSE CURLS they look like they were really fun to draw o:

Thank you so much! I've actually finished this today and I'm pretty happy with it. C: He's been shaded now so he doesn't have nearly so much contrast from the background but I still think he's pretty striking haha. I'll post the final version tomorrow or Saturday!

Oh neat may I ask who the slot is to? I'm super interested in breeding but it's not very feasible right now (I have just two tokotas and they're both male so I have to pay for both male and female slots OOPS) but I still like to see what pops up.
And it's actually a semi-custom! I made...let's see...six different potential designs before finally settling on one. I feel like I really need to get this right the first time haha. :b Now I'm chomping at the bit for Design Central to reopen so I can get her uploaded!
