Description Third deviation. Thought I'd share some of my old stuff. This was the first thing I did after getting my WACOM Graphire tablet about 2 years ago. Before the tablet, I was doing coloring in Photoshop using a mouse. OUCH.

Comments and constructive critiques most welcome. Thanks.

Really? Because the structure, anatomy, and style influences between this one and the style I have now are totally different.

well, there are subtle differences, like the facial structure, but it is very much YOUR style.

yeah, i see wat u mean now... this one's more anime based, with the nearly invisible and the eye structure. either way, ur anime/manga/whatever u want to call it is a perfect cross between American and Japanese comic styles. wouldn't mind seeing more of this style in a couple of pics.

I like the soft cartoony style. Your new work is very progressive and highly detailed. Yet, there is something to be found in your older works as well. Top quality art flows from your pencil, no matter how much it changes.

The new one is great, but this one is still very impressive!

It's remarkable that you can convey an admiration for the beauty of these subjects (fictional or otherwise) without going and rendering their breasts and hind-quarters badly disproportionate from the rest of their bodies (as some more recent illustrators and character artists have been wont to do).

I think this one is another one of my favorites, but I won't bombard you with Favorite designations.

To me, there IS no sexy without a beautiful face, so I'm smitten with your rendition here. Great expression, well-balanced exagerations overall, and a wonderful sense of form.

You've imbued this fictional character with a strong sense of personality - that's critical to my enjoyment of it, anyway.

ps - nice background treatment, too...
