yes, but the words still hold true. VR will always have a super-special place in my heart as my first ship, slash or otherwise, from my first real fandom experience. amcan is fun, especially for all sorts of AU silliness, but VR is just a very classic highschool love story with a splash of superheroing to boot

yeah, it was a really old comic from the 80s or something by a tangent comic company (not DC or marvel)... BUT!!!! DC recently bought out the rights to that company and is bringing back a whole bunch of the characters, including STATIC!!! i've been dying of excitment ever since i found out.... the first issue with him comes out in early january!

I know nothing about the show or the comics. Where I grew up we were lucky when we could get ahold of DC or Marvel Comics. I mostly know of these What'sItCalled comics from a mention in one of Scott McCloud's books. And I think I saw an episode of Static Shock once in a hotel that had cable or satellite or some fancy-pants stuff like that.
And by do what, I mean how do you make pain-in-the-ass drawings look easy? And I see you've it to the G about 6 hours and 19 minutes after I asked, so you don't have to repeat it again.

for the cartoon, richie is pretty much the second most important character in the whole show, after virgil (virgil being static shock, o'course 
the cartoon richie is based mostly off a character in the comic named "rick," who's just a random friend of virgil's. in the comic, rick is openly gay. in the cartoon, no one says anything about that out loud, but richie gets a little bit gayer every season XDDD he gets an earring, fangirls multiple times over boy bands, and his entire wardobe slowley shifts to shades of white, teal, and powder blue
