If you set the EF-S 60mm @1x and use the 250D filter, what is the final magnification?
Thanks!

I want to say that it was around 1.2x, but I don't remember and it's been a long time since I've shot with that combo.

Its not a big enhancement then. Better getting some extension rings!
One question about that: Why do people buy super expensive extension rings if the only difference to a cheap one is the AF capability? I mean, is it actually useful to have AF while shooting @2x, 3x, ... ? Thanks in advance Dalantech!

Autofocus and macro are mutually exclusive, and peeps are paying a lot of money for just an air gap

Yea, it seem so! But I found out that its not only the Autofocus that is missing on those cheap rings. Since they dont have any electronics at all, they dont allow TTL readings, aperture control, ... so, I dont see the use of such a thing.
The lens will be stuck at full aperture or am I missing something here? It seem like I really need to invest some money on an AIR GAP after all?!

Kenko makes a set that's E-TTL compatible with Canon cameras.

The colors are subtle yet beautiful. The faint purple against the yellows are just superb. The design the grasses make are stunning too. Especially since there are some blades in both the foreground and the background. Amazing job!

I love it because it's so light. I was thinking of 100mm but it was quite heavy.
