Nice page. Homeboy really looks like he's struggling in that first panel. By the way, I want that "Squirrels are fucking" panel on a t-shirt... ha ha ha...

I have a feeling that panel is going to end up on a pin, or something... maybe a t-shirt is warranted!
thanks!

XD at the kid's bike!
Yup, you do see a lot of things while bike riding that you miss while in a car. Yay for squirrel pr0n!

I had a busted up old banana seat bike for years that was very similar (sans the flowery wicker basket in front). I could still do sorta decent jumps with it, tho!

Ah yes, I remember what "fun" it was riding a bycicle. My old man insisted on continuing this practice until, last month, he ran into an open manhole cover. Even now he still *wants* to, he just knows he no longer can. Given that he's 70, I think he's gonna have to deal with it.
Also, great cityscape. I forget if you are near Portland.

We bicyclists are a stubborn lot; I was hit (albeit, slowly thank goodness) by a truck who made a right turn looking about 50 feet behind me instead of a few feet in front of him.
What did I learn? A $15 helmet was the best insurance I ever bought.
I still get out on the road for 20-30 miles a week.
Thanks for the comment, I do indeed live near Portland, just across the river/state line.

Thanks! I find that when I need outdoor backgrounds (city streets, mainly) that using Google Street View is a fantastic way to establish a setting.
Since this story is so Portland-centric, I can literally pick where in the city I want the setting to be, and use it for reference.

Squirrels are always oblivious to all non-nut-related disasters, from my experience. I mean, what zombies could ever catch a squirrel?

So far (despite having recently been attacked by one the night before), Michael's also sort of oblivious! I guess he's just one of those always-sunny types. We'll have to fix that, mu-ha-ha!

This deserves a Daily Deviation . From the way you perfectly drew the awkward attempt at riding the bicycle, to the amazing landscape panel. And, of course, the best panel to ever appear on a comics page
. Someday, some pop artist is going to come along and discover it and make a big fancy Man Observes Squirrels While Fornicating painting out of it
.

By the way, that was totally our plan with the squirrel panel. The writer said that he's going to get a tattoo of it, but I think he's "nuts".
Thanks!!

I'm with the last guy. Way to kick ass on the new pages, Chris. Also, that is the single greatest drawing of squirrels fucking I've ever seen. Also, it's the only one I've ever seen - they don't have a category for that on youporn, apparently.

You'd be surprised how easy it was to find reference for it reasonably quickly...
Thanks!

God and Goonies was on the other day. I love the pacing in this page. Frankly, you have been knocking it out of the park, one after another.

Thanks, Larry. I think Daniel (the writer) and I are really hitting our stride in the storytelling department, considering comic book pacing was new to him when we started (he's primarily a screen writer, but that transferred to comics quite easily.

I think so too, it's not a mess like I see from published comics, since I do review a lot of crap.
