Thanks! I'm taking my cue from the old EC War comics, and trying to blend in some accuracy vis a vis the weapons and uniforms. Plus I think drawing rubble inspires me.

Usually every comic page I do takes me about a week, I'll do bits every couple of days. Total time is typically 8-12 hours per.

Amazing page. Love the action and attention to uniforms and weaponry. My only question is the second to last frame; are those grenades thrown by the germans? I think the reaction in the last panel is making it seem so, maybe it will be apparent on the next page.

Thanks! The grenades were thrown by the 3 American GIs from the last panel - I think the reaction by the front guy is something like, "oops, maybe we overdid it."

This is simply an amazing page. I love how you create textures and the compositions are fantastic.

I'm curious, though. Given the fact that you handletter your work, did you also draw the "Chuka" sound effect as well?

Nah, I added that later with Photoshop, as I didn't want to potentially goober up some of the fine lines in the background. Plus, I can change the font if I want.
