this piece is a bit older, somehow resizing fucks up the glow around the hands of the big figure now they look blurry like hell but well it's a small sacrifice to protect the image from rippers.All images/photography/scans by me - no stock used

looks like whoever has been put onto the stage is somewhat reluctant to act. that 'veil' / curtain is a powerful element. god is one hell of a magician, I think.

Resizing to .png looks way better than .jpg. I am going to reupload some of my earlier pieces as .png myself, with a watermark of course. My newer pieces are submitted as .png and there is a big difference of the resizing quality. I create in .png originally anyway, maybe you could try that.

the masking and blending stuff is experience mostly I guess, I have to do it at work every single day, in a totally different style though but the principles stay the same

I create images/animations for the dutch tv news, so we mask out people and put them on backgrounds, or we make 3d simulations of accidents or promotional work for the kiddienews, stuff like that.

it sounds cooler than it really is tbh, the cool part is that you're in the middle of the news and you have different subjects every day but the less cool part is that you're pretty restricted in what you do and the extreme tight deadlines (although that's something which I DO like)

i like the lower part, however there is sth wrong with the sky.. maybe it should be wider, erm.. longer.. with sth else instead of this texture. but that's just my opinion..

at the time I made it I considered this to be the best option but ofcourse that's my opinion again, perhaps it's not the "best" composition but it was the one I liked the most. If I had to do the pic again I might do it differently.... or not.
