Description
Testing out a slightly different painting style working up from traditional. I used to work like this all the time but I switched to entirely digital once I got a Cintiq. I've remembered that I get quite a bit more unexpected detail and happy accidents with traditional. Though I do get a more finished result these days now that I'm more accustomed to digital painting.

I also allow myself to have fun. For some reason when I sit in front of the computer I become all business and forget the simple fact that art is fun.

Time to move on to the final now.
