This is one of my super awesome little asteriniid starfish in my tank. This guy's a little under half an inch from point to point, I loves him! I couldn't believe how this photo turned out, I had to share it. :3Related content

They live off the natural growth in the tank and sometimes the food that the fish don't eat.

Oh. I thought that all starfish were more active predators, and that you had to throw tiny clams in there for it to eat. Silly me!

Had Tropical fish before and the lived for years but is not brave enough to have marine ones

It is sad. :< This guy came in on some rock, didn't even know he was there until a few weeks later. I have another kind in there too: [link] little brittle stars that are soooo tiny.

they died after two days. 
good tank with everything necessary
but I am afraid to buy other critters...
