Description
Teh Doc says:Lounging in the comfy chair is Garadun, Doctor of Demonology, one of the prime characters of my Dead Magicians Club novels. Despite his youthful appearance (a disguise to foil the Church’s assassins) this skilled sorcerer is in his early 40s. He’s intensely loyal and protective of his friends and loved ones, generous, laid-back, freedom-loving… and an absolute nightmare to those who cross him.
Teh Dan says:
Ah, this guy rocks! You can't really appreciate how much he rocks if you haven't read the book "winknudgewink" just like the rest of the DMC characters, Gar has many layers in his personality and it really surprise you some of them. Still, his friendly and open minded attitude most of the time makes him a very enjoyable character during the journey.
About the piccu, this one came after Cera's (the forest with the elf and the faerie), and I decided that if it had worked so well with light colors and a soft light source, I could try the oposite now, dark colors and an intense light source. It was quite fun working with this one since many of you know my love for dark colors. X)

Sorry for the late comment! You know, this stood out the most out of your newest deviations! ^_^ You got the pose and perspective just right and it gives off a lot of attitude ~ the body language is perfect too! Great choice of colours and you're brave for using a rosey sort of pinky-red for the chair since the rest of the pick is dark and mucky brown! ^_^;
The colouring job is just amazing! You've gotten really good with shading and lighting and I'm just really digging the shading on his clothes

I have no idea why, but I feel the urge to say 'Uber classy.' He just strikes me that way, like a well read sorta fellow, and from his expression he looks like he's got a sense of humour. I really like how the lighting came out, ^o^ I also like the BG, *heart* the bg is uber.

I must say that his pose is sooo fitting for Garadun, that relax casualness that he seems to have. I must admit, that I'm VERY impressed at the lighting on this, esp. how the flame has a "aura" that makes the objects behind it look rather soft. And the clothes is just so nice with all the folds and such detailed all over. Wonderful. <3

Woooow, folds galore! Awesome job on those, and wow, the shading and lighting ROCKS. I love all the dark colors; great tones. Great idea for a light source. The pose is awesome. I can't draw people with their legs crossed. x_x Wonderful job on the textures and small details like the reflection of light on the glass on the shelf. I like how there are books scattered about, too. Another kickass piece.

The lighting is really good. The background is sublime, but I can't help but feel it could have been a tad more.. clean, the line art, you know? For the shelves anyway.

Esta genial, muy buena tecnica, has sabido implementar los componentes de pasadas composiciones, y la forma de colorear tuya ya se esta volviendo tu carta de presentacion, lo unico malo es que los libreros del fondo parecen estar mal perspectivados, pero lo de mas esta de poca, igual y un poquito mas de luz en esa vela, pero señor te estas luciendo como los grandes!!!
