Description
For [link] mizzd-stocks contest.Yeh...Um, not much to say really. I think it turned out well enough, im not entirely proud of it. But i think its pretty good.
She is the queen of the deep. I think that says it all.
This is my most detailed piece ever, using a lot of stock and a lot of elements to create this.
I did her hair myself. It is based off a little mermaid image I have. The baby doesnt have blue hair because she only gets it when she becomes queenβ¦
Either that or I knew it would be too damn hard to do that babys hair

Thankyou so much Inspiring? I dont think anyone has ever said that about my stuff before. That is a real honor. Esspecially coming from a stock artist, who must see dozens of works with thier stuff in it each day

Inspiring!! Yes.
I see lots of work every day, but I don't generally toss compliments around. So I like to think I reserve statements like that for the truly deserving!

I think Mizzd nailed the word for this, "Magical." Beautiful job with all the detail, it's delightful to see a fancy castle under the water, protected by undersea cliffs ^x^ Nice job with her hair, I haven't figured out how to do strands & highlights yet, I don't have enough coordination (so I used fill textures to fudge "hair" on my submission to another contest this morning XD). I like how you have them in some loose robes instead of the typical bra-look entries, it's a nice regal change-up

Well, I always liked the thought of having castles under the sea, like atlantica. Now, the hair, I found a tutorial for that which I forgot to mention. Ill edit and post the link. Its very good, I just modified it a bit to suit my own needs and I used my tablet, and some smudging thats why it looks semi-presentable
I left the robes becauses, as well as thinking it would be something different, and original, it would have been extremely hard to get those robes off and a bikini on, Im sure I could have done it, but it would have taken way too much work and time, more than I can afford right now Im afriad.
thankyou for your comment, I just love it when people have more to say that just a sentence
