Description
This mutation and how it is showcased is breed specific and may not be realistic in any way.Mutations are designed and sorted out by Ravica and should not be copied.
Name: Tricolor
Rarity: Semi-rare
Genotype: Tc
Rules:
- Tricolor horses have two sets of genotypes, like two horses submerging to one.
- can appear in any natural color and mutation on either or both sides.
- always affects mane and tail.
- Can cover white markings unless both genotypes share same paint pattern etc.
- does not affect the eye color.
- secondary color pattern must appear natural, like a colored paint pattern.
NO specific patterning such as swirls, hearts, teddybears or whatnot.
NO unnatural colors unless mutations are involved.
NO weird tribal marking, excessive spotting etc.
Inheritance:
These are the guidelines for how this gene may pass on to offsprings based on parent genotypes.
Notice that this is not exact science and chance is part of breeding for color.
TcTc and nTc means the horse showcase the gene. nn means the gene is not present.
TcTc x TcTc = 100% TcTc / 0% nTc / 0% nn
TcTc x nTc = 95% TcTc / 5% nTc / 0% nn
TcTc x nn = 5% TcTc / 95% nTc / 0% nn
nTc x nTc = 5% TcTc / 95% nTc / 0% nn
nTc x nn = 0% TcTc / 5% nTc / 95% nn
