Aww thanks!
Umm.. what can I say?
It's a difficult topic xD I'm nervous now haha!
Mmm..
Don't think so much about it. It develops with time and practice (even my "style" is still a Work In Progress haha! )
Practice as much as you can. Sometimes I tend to say "practice until it hurts" like a little joke, but also with some truth.
Study from real life, it gives you a good base for stylze later. Don't be afraid about using references -references are good- , and, if you decide to copy for practice (only for practice)--and here is where opinions may vary between artists--, it's ok! just don't post it on internet or claim it as yours... If you decide to copy for practice, try to do it actually knowing what are you doing, be concient about it, learn of it becasue if not, you'll be just reproducing work from others and that's not the idea.
Look at other artists' works, not only our contemporary, but also the classic ones. This is how you make your 'influence list' : ) The art world has lots of styles, shapes, palettes, ideas and ways to represent them.
Also try new things/techniques /styles time to time, things out of your confort zone.
Look for inspiration in some uncommon things: nature, a mug, fashion, pets, a microwave, etc.
Play with diferent shapes.
And just draw!
As I said, style/art improvement comes with time, practice and experimenting. It's a long ride so try to have fun. In a couple of years you'll be surpriced about your progress.
Hope it makes sense haha!
English isn't my first languaje, sorry.
Have a good day!
