The big question for me is where is Arendelle in Equestria? And whats the relationship between them?( queen technicly outranks princess.

Since they are princesses, or rather a queen and a princess, they are regarded as royal ponies, therefore they are alicorns. Twilight Sparkle became an alicorn, and after was titled to be a princess. All royal ponies in MLP are alicorns, so it makes sense that Anna and Elsa would be alicorns.
