Description
After another test run with the shell on and cleaning up the tender, the restoration process of the Lionel 2036 2-6-4 comes to an end. I hope y'all enjoyed this little walk-through and I'm looking forward to doing more stuff like this in the future.Related content

It's scary! Despite the #, our are IDENTICAL!

i have number 671.
i'd like to ask if you know or could think of a way to repair the engine. :^
also i'm thinking of adding two coaches to my lionel collection just for the sake of it.

That is a lot of steam engines...is there like a complete list or engines at your museum? Im sure you've got some other cool items we haven't seen much of yet!

Wow! It looks fantastic.
I got to control one of these once, at a model train show. The whole layout had tinplate trains, mainly Hornby, but it did have one Lionel 2-6-4.
I also enjoy finding and fixing old model trains - I mainly collect Tri-ang and Hornby Railways items.

Cool. And to think that was marketed towards Lionel's lower end line of cheap trains.
