I just recently drew a bird and the feathers are the hardest part for me. I'll have to practice more, your Blue Jay is an awesome drawing/painting! Keep up the good work. I like your style too!

Very nice use of the softness of the snow in the foregound. It gives a feeling of confetti and light whilst also making the atmosphere rather cosy. The striking colours on the bird are very nicely done with an undeniably immaculate brush-stroke texture for the feathers, and paired with the light, is overcome with a rather sharp, refined look. Awesome work!
