Cold Shoulder
Stand gritting your teeth into sunset glint,
Day now beneath us in historical squint,
Darkness will swallow whole far from golden-
Hopes dashed like Cirrus-ticked Moon beholden,
Nightlight-robbery of dreams yet unleashed,
That emotional inferno released,
Frost-laden potpourri of wintry belief,
Annual moshing of musical relief,
Skeletal boughs of barking energy,
Like lightning imprints blinding alleys,
Leading somewhere as Faith clearly rallies,
Terrorising political cul-de-sac -
Into freedom: now there's no looking back.
The only killers are dying regimes,
Those that pushed us each and all to extremes,
From horrors of war a justice defrosted,
Burnt-out, found-out, read-out, we''re exhausted;
Accountability seeks perpetrators,
Hollow promises of sly dictators,
Write the page of their lengthiest sentence,
Meet thou maker; comeuppance and penance,
So we the long-downtrodden bear witness,
To their fate we'll end policies of sickness,
Peace sets sail every memory port-of-call,
No more shall our heartlands suffer such gall.

Thank you as well, Daniel (should I call you like that?). I hope your
works will keep creating such a wonderful atmosphere - they do really
attract to see them closer and to read without haste. I haven't seen
your whole gallery, but some your works told me about you: a person
with wide opened eyes, ready to see the beauty of this world, a person
who likes human beings enough to call them on to living healthy, keeping
piece and love, attentive and searching for a true life. If I've made a mistake,
I'm sorry.

Everything that doesn't kill us makes us stronger, is it so?
From my own experience I can say for sure that it is right.
I wish you to recover as soon as it is possible. I wish you
many positive moments and get many kind warm words
from people around - no matter where they really are. Here
among creative people you can get it all, I'm sure
Did you know that poems are like spells? You can make yourself
feel better when you write positive ones. It really helps, because
our world answers your spells. If you send warm feelings, the
world replies the same many times, as an echo.
I'm glad to meet you here and talk to you. Your wishes also
help me right now, when I have to stay at home because of
overwork.

Thanks also for your kind wishes regarding my own health, that's appreciated so much. It is still a long, long path for me, but there is positive energy to counter the negative's in life, so it is to remain optimistic each and every day: for every living being!
You are right about poems - there is 'contagious laughter' etc, so the same applies to poetry, art, love, peace, goodwill, compassion, and all things...I agree with you.

Let's thank him
We go straight as our life is painted,
Step by step, until we're near fainted.
Then stop and ask ourself - if that is true
That someone's support comes right to
Us when we are in need for this ensue?
Then look back to the path you go,
You'll see two chains of tracks, so
The first are yours - and they sometimes
Do disappear during your lifetimes.
And what the other chain does mean?
And whose are footsteps? You've ever seen
That one - but that comes true,
Your angel's, who supports you.
So, now you see the steps of him -
They say: "I carry you on my hands
When hard times come - till they end".
He tries his best - let's thank him!

and experience many wonderful moments. Enjoy the way you were
given.

Thank you...and yes, it was peaceful that day (a few winter's ago) because the snow and ice meant no traffic, so it was very nice with my dog.
