Well, when I read that this was made with SAI, I entirely froze. It's a truly stunning view, and magnificently drawn!e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="26" height="17" alt="" title="Love"/> I personally have no problem with the brightness, I adore it.
It does look a bit that's raining but it could be a watery-snow. The tree's shape and position are really well framed on the image, the little houses staying there make you go "aww". e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Aww"/> There are 2 things that I'd critique. Firstly, the mountains. The shape is good but I can see a grey-ish tone in the shadows, and it gives off a look like it was scanned and blurred. (I don't have any good example, I hope you understande.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="" title="Sweating a little..."/>) I like the parts where the shadow ends with the bright blue, I guess you used directly the brush.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Then the clouds; they give off a powerful impression, but I can see the brush strokes which stand out too much, like in a "doodle". Well, they're beautifully drawn, but compared to the forest's sharp tones, they seem being too airbrushede.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="XD"/>.

Wow....This one's going to be a challenge.....I'll be lucky if I can even spot ONE thing that needs improvement....I'll try my best since you asked for a critique. I guess I could start with how bright your artwork is in the center-ish area: it kind of hurts my eyes when I look at that part of the artwork, so I suggest toning down the brightness a little next time. To me, it appears more like it's raining then snowing due to the long strokes you made for the snow, so I suggest making them a little shorter next time: I also think that it would've been more of an "eternal winter" if there was more snow falling down in the sky. As for the tower in the background, I think you should make it a little darker, because the bright lighting admitting from the area it's in makes it sort of harder to see (I didn't even notice it until I was about to finish this critique!). This is amazing! The way everything blends together, nothing seems out of place at all. You can see the glints of ice on the sea, too, under the light of the moon, it's inspiring. Great, I'm not looking forward to writing this part, but can I use this on the background of my tumblr page? I'll give you full credit, if you prefer. Yes or no is fine by me, I won't hold anything against you. I've been looking for nearly an hour (ohmygosh a whole hour wow what hard work you put into it nobody ever does things for an hour even though this artist probably put much, much, much longer than an hour's work into this :I), and this is the best one I've found to fit. I just love your paint. The tree is a little off balance though. Also its geometry is a little odd. I would make the tree a little smaller. I love the colors and snow for me is really bright.
