There isn't really a name for that particular growth. The term 'collar' is my own and I call it that because it surrounds the branch kind of like a collar.......what can I say? I have spent a lot of time in the dark lately............

Yeah, I am a coffee snob....won't drink anything but organic.....The only addiction I have not been able to cut off completely......something about coffee, man!
Everything is organic where I make bagels and the coffee is excellent.

I had a think fro Blue Mountain coffee---
I had a friend in Jamaica---He would send
me a list of things he needed and he would
send me the stuff right out of the oven---
He also had some of the best grass ---
