It really works!
This may sound like a weird thing to pick up on, but I also really like how you gave the eye-holes in the mask such depth! Am I allowed to ask how you did that? xD depth is always my weakness when it comes to drawing!

wow that's a question i don't even know how to answer haha I didn't really think about it while I was doing it. But I'd say texture is key. I always try to add texture even if it's almost transparent, it makes a whole difference and prevents my work from looking flat. I leave my sketch visible, at around 10% opacity, that acts as my texture and I think that is what may have created the depth in the holes. As well as placement of shadows.
