I haven't done a Sonic Riders Pic in a loong time, so this is what I decided to do today. Wanted to put emphasis on the background and have the character offset as a secondary focus (and in this case, emerging from the frame to add some depth).
This pic was really fun, started off slow and then ended with a bang. I didn't Livestream this one because I had several friends livestreaming tonight, so I played it courteous.
Why yes, Syron loves to skyboard.

I noticed that you used a different style of mussel on Syron as well, a style usually used in anime, mangas, & furry. the lighting effects on the board, shoes, and crystals (darn It! I forget what they are called again )are also a big plus. Gives the appearance of "Sonic Riders Zero Gravity", wich used a lot of this type of lighting. The pic did look a bit "off balance" however, with all the effects on Syron at the top and little on the bottom, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, because if you were going for a SR Zero Gravity look, then it being off balance just adds to the dramaticness (is that even a word

HOLY SH*T Dan! Great job done here. The shades and detail are incredible as ever, maybe even more. The perspective is a bit off, but you still did a damn good job. Also luving that muzzle on syron ;D you made him look incredible and badass. The lighting effects are great, especially on his hoverboard, this is maybe one of my favorite works from you. +fav indeed

I love how you managed to work with more detailed coloring instead of blurring everything with supa effects.
Angle is pretty good, though Syron's right leg looks a bit messed up but all of the marvelous details make this minus look like nothing.

yeah i think the perspective made it a little difficult to get the anatomy spot on, but I tried to make up for it in other aspects. I'm glad you like it. it means alot hearing it from someone such as yourself with a prestigious art status
