This is the rose you gave me when we first met
This is the rose that sat in the vase during all those times
This is the rose that silently witnessed our late nights.
This is the rose that WAS,
Until you left me alone,
Until you have gone to somewhere out of my reach.
I'll hold on to the rose, as long as it holds on to me
Until it shrivels and shatters to pieces, just like my heart
Then we'll see what is to become of me.

To those people I know in real life: Try not to judge me. As an artist (oh yes, I know it sounds pompous) I believe in conveying my art professionally, in my way. So once again, try not to judge me.
I think it looks like a painting!
I like the effect very much. The rose symbolizes her hold on life. Her partner, is dead, in case you didn't notice...Thanks for looking and reading

Very speaking portrait, I love pose here, your back, hair (beautiful, beautiful hair) and the rose. Tones give it nostalgic feeling, very great. Nice shades on the background also. I don't like sepia colours here, I would prefer it b&w (but I just don't use sepia at all, so you know, imho). Overally, pretty photo, good concept.

Yeah, I know you generally have a shattered heart, but wither seem to fit the rose better since I can't quite imagine a flower shatering unless it's made of glass. And withering heart isn't that bad, right?
Now that I think of it, I think shrivels already covers withering...

Remember the flowers from the concert? Yeah, those. I had two bouquets, this is the second one. Unfortunately it has a nest of ants inside it. I had to put it out in the sun for 2 afternoons.

I KNOW. Eeeesh. But there they sit on my desk now, completely free of ants/maggots looking vintagely pretty and wilted and beautiful in their unique way.
