Well, despite of no MegaMan news this summer so I thought to take a swing at a re-imagining MegaMan Battle Network to fit more of a modern day interpretation of cyber aesthetic and today's internet technology. So apple-tech and more sleeker aesthetics and lights. It's kinda funny how BN did predict how technology would go in the games when it came out in early 2000s. Also acknowledging just how messed up the original origin for MegaMan.EXE is. He is a human infant soul that just died and then suddenly inserted into a machine program that has all the knowledge of the internet and destructive powers without much time to learn emotions and how to be human himself.

Needless to say that this interpretation of MegaMan is kinda... Jaded. Maybe not completely sane. His moral compass would be Lan and be devoted to giving Lan a healthy and normal childhood that he never had. And for others at least in the early games would merely tolerate a lot of the other characters, not fitting in as a human nor a netnavi as the other netnavis don't truly have emotions like he does (not yet anyway) and being unable to have the sensations and experiences of being human. Imagine yearning for touch, smell, taste, and sensations when the Cyberworld only has Sight, Hearing, basic touch, and pain.

Also the fact that NetNavis have to live by the survival of the most efficient and are constantly under attack by viruses, are measured by their efficiency and have a culture of constant fighting seems to make them a WHOLE lot more messed up than what their kid netops seem to be.

Yes, I have given this a lot of thought.
