Description
Male cat called by me Onyx. He's appeared in the neighborhood in the fall. Looked like he was thrown on a street by his owners. The hole block feed him for a month until our neighbor took him home.But still he has the saddest expression in his eyes

How can someone kick out a pet?? it pisses me off so bad, just leaving like something you don't need anymore ... damned be this people.

I feel you, people who can do something like this are not supposed to have pets AT ALL! My suspicion is when he was thown like unwanted doll, they played with him and then got enough. How come people don't undestand that pet is a great responsibility in a first place, they need to be cared and loved!
He is ok, but I wish that somebody could give him as much love as I'm giving to my cat

I know how it can be, i adopted 2 of my cats from the street, and the *prince of the house* Aramis, is my 2nd cat's baby -Priscilla-. It was such an event when he was born, and i thought; how can someone just drop them like things? my family and i love this 3 sweeties, they're family

And btw, my 4th black cat Lara lives next to home, at my grandpa's. She was so little, hungry when she found me, cos she did! and now, she's a furry sweet thing who says thank you every time we visit her.
How can shelters kill black cats?? damn "#ยค"#ยค (i can't reproduce this XD).

The shalters will change their "rules" only if people will change their attitude toward black cats

Well darling, as i replied before, tell them to read about what happened during the Salem trials, how many innocent women whose only sin was to be wiser than others cos of knowing how to use the properties of plants to heal; were tortured with devices coming frmo twisted minds, tell them that black was = devil and that hundreds of cats and dogs were sent to the fire to burn ...
"The supposed witches" would admit that the devil had spoken through their pets, imagine the color ... in a desperate attempt of avoiding the last torture: die in the fire.
I only read a lot (cos i'm a history fan) and look for facts, since i hate this attitude toward innocent animals.

I did the same thing - read as much as i could find about when this supersicion start and why. And the interesting fact is that the cats were first mentioned by acient Egyptian who associated BLACK cats with their goddess Bast/Bastet and they were honored more that other cats.
I'm not sure if this true, but I also heard that some of these woman were occused only because the have black cats.
