To be honest, I really like the concept of Chrome Web Apps. The problem that I have is that they're literally just glorified websites. What's the point of a web app if there's an address bar that lets you go somewhere else?

So I wondered: What if the UI of the app replaced the address bar? This would make the experience seem more "native" and makes it look like an actual app. But it seamlessly blends into the Chrome UI as a tab for easy multitasking. I think this idea is really interesting, so I quickly mocked up an example with Google Docs.
