Your name is (Y/N) a normal 17 year old boy walking to a normal school like you always did with your best friend, Gabriel. Life wasn't very exciting for you, all you did everyday was go to school, come back, go to sleep and repeat. Life wasn't all that fun.

"And I'm telling you dude! They were like ZAP! POW! BOINGOINGOING! EXPLOSIONS!" He was currently telling you of the X-men's recent exploits and how awesome he thought they were, he seriously used the word awesome way too much.

"Boingoingoing?" You ask.

"Alright, MAYBE not boingoingoing but all the other ones were seriously happening!"

"Dude you might want to get to a therapist it's not normal for you to like these Z-women so much." You tell him, faking concern.

"It's actually X-MEN you retard." he retorts.

"Yeah, yeah, Well talk about the ABC-men later now come on let's step it up or we'll be late for class."

"Ugh, fine...." he grumbles.

You arrive at school, everything seems normal....Stephanie sucking face with Trevor...The Myer twins messing around....A bald guy on a wheelchair...Yep everything was normal.

School was long and painful....and tiresome...and a lot of other terrible adjectives that you could describe it as. You finally get out of school, today had been a particularly slow day since you had to stay quite a few hours later than everybody else because you took advanced studies it isn't your favorite but you get to gloat at everybody so it had it's perks.

you had only gotten out of that dreaded building at 8:00 PM your bro Gabriel always waits for you, he may be annoying but you love him like a brother.

"Ready to go?" He asks. He clearly wants to leave.

"Yeah, let's go." You say. Man, you're going to need a break or all this work is going to kill you!

You two walk down back to your houses breathing in the cold, chilly air that usually comes out at night.

"Man today was slow..." You tell Gabriel.

"Heh, no shit I can see the bags under your eyes!" He says poking you on the cheek.

"I hate you." You grumble.

"No you don't~" He says.

You two continue walking down the sidewalk however you start hearing sirens

"What the fuck?" You say.

"HOLY CRAP!"

One of the houses had started burning, there were a lot of firefighters hosing down the house however it seemed to have no effect. You hear a man kicking and screaming and trying to fight against two firefighters.

"SHE'S MY DAUGHTER I CAN'T ABANDON HER!"

"Sir, you need to-"

"NO I WON'T FUCKING CALM DOWN!"

You run up to the firefighters.

"What's happening?" You ask.

"It seems an escaped convict has gotten into this family's house and started burning it down, there's a little girl in there." The fireman says.

Welp.

Time to do something stupid!

You rush into the house the smoke filling your lungs rapidly and blocking out any oxygen, it's hot burning hot but you still move on forward. You go up the burning stairs one of the steps breaking and digging a shard of wood right into your leg.

"FUCK!"

It hurts like a bitch but you keep moving forward as you get into one of the bedrooms you see the girl. However you also see the crazy maniac with a flamethrower.

Lovely.

"Yer' all gonna get purified! These flames'll do the job right quick!" The maniac says, he was clearly mad since he kept giggling and laughing to himself over and over again.

You rush over and tackle the man, sending him to the floor and breaking the burnt floorboards with you. You're now trying to keep the man still but DAMN is he strong!

"RUN!" You shout above as the girl jumps down from the hole and makes a break for the exit.

You continue to wrestle down the maniac, however he gets a lucky swing right at the side of your face making you fall onto the floor next to him.

"Good thing I had a backup plan!" He cackles "At least I get to purify one of yas!" He gets out a small item from his pocket.

It's a C4 detonator.

He presses the button.

And everything goes white.
