Do you use any protection when you use steel wool? I think you should not get it in your hair.

First time I did this , [link] , I did it without a hat on. I had so many mini heart attacks during taking this photo... I learnt from that very quickly!

I guess you can call this fire poi to some degree. I make shifted a poi using chains a whisk and some steel wool

hahaha The model that is getting hit by the sparks was screaming throughout the whole performance as he thought he was gonna set on fire xD ( joking of course) But he did take quite a few hits from the sparks !

The patterns are made from the swings of the chain , very hard to do when you are trying not to burn yourself at the same time !
