The proggy was 3ds max 5. It's taken me a good 3 months to fine-tune this baby. The other sword took just as long. And the staff I made in a day. ^_^

Good question. Never done one. Would take some time to get the basic shape and then fine-tune it all. I've been doing swords for years, so I know the basics of the shape. Guitars are a bit harder.
