...roughly page 10 i guess in my hetalia doujin More than Words this year for CF. i am doing it with
we both did a different pair^^,
below is her part of the preview for the doujin:

----i will do mine tomorrow if am not dead rushing deadlines TT...hahahaha 8D;;;

text i haven't add:
Ivan:
'i wonder...
what were u trying to tell me when you call out to me in the snowstorm?'

...i think am doing ALL my pages in this format, (ok, so i haven't added the text and effects yet ) including the ones i did before, as to tell the truth,
1. i think i improve somewhat a lot from the timeline i did the 1st few pages, and really, and frankyly, i can't stand looking at what i drew for those previous pages anymore 8D;;;---besides, how many of you know me through my current penciling style and drawings?! compared with my inks that is.
2. i don't have enough time for a lot of inking this month...am more busy than i thought TT. and i DON'T want the quality to drop. so...
3. ...the drawings look more natural (anatomy and expression wise)and warm compared to my digitals anyway...the story is supposed to be kinda warm, and i feel my digital style gives off a cold vibe somwehat...TT

just for the heck of it, u can see my prev pages in my gallery. 1st or 2nd folder if am not mistaken.--->>>sorry, i really can't stand looking at it myself now ;;; ---so i stored the deviation...

hi, sorry for the late reply. friend says that it's kinda hard and impossible for overseas debit cards to get through to our banks. but you can connect to paypal via your debit card'',
the other alternative is to pay directly to someone you know and trust who has paypal, and ask that person to pay me i guess.

Yeah, we have GBP not dollars but I'm not sure what the exchange rate is...it keeps on changing! The book looks really pretty! I've just read your note and shall keep it for future reference but atm I don't have spare money to spend because I have to start transferring money for a university account (the uni fees in England are atrocious!) but I shall contact you when my accounts have settled

Thanks for the info!

ah, it's ok^^,~ i too, once had horrendous experience with study loans transfer etc, so i know something of what you felt TvT....now that am in charge of my own account, the er, asdfgh procedures gets even more creative on certain days

uh oh, i forgot that Britain uses pound...i believe though, that in paypal, you can convert it automatically ah well, i suppose i should be thankful that it's not Euro. for some reason i am not sure of, i really don't take to it...i guess it's the feeling that Euro sweeps away the local currencies like Franc etc, so being an amateur numismatic, i am rather =v=; at the thought...

Thanks for understanding!

Yeah, Britain is the oddball in Europe! We refuse to change our currency to the euro and I'm glad! For the same reason as you, I feel like the euro is sweeping away all the local currencies But not us! There'd be such a rampage if our government decided to join the euro lol! XD

i read about the Euro group meeting a few weeks ago, and thought that Britain's got guts idk how long Euro will last...but whatever the outcome, i just hope and pray that it's for the better, as it makes me cringe to read about the unemployment part---when one has been on the verge of starving before, i know just how it feels like to feel so uncertain about a job and the uncertainty of the next full meal...

HarleyDavidsonGal In reply to darkn2ght [2012-01-15 23:41:39 +0000 UTC]

I know everyone is glad that our prime minister has done at least one thing right. There is talk of us leaving the EU altogether but I'm not sure if that is going to happen.

We're more worried about Scotland trying to gain independence though that isn't going to happen because it would take so much time and effort to pull off.

Thanks for your concern! I hope you yourself are alright! (You mentioned being on the verge of starving...I see you're from Malaysia, I hope your economy is fine and not hit badly by the recession )

Our unemployment is sky high which is bad for all of us young people who can't afford to pay our bills But we have to keep calm and carry on and we'll soon be out of the recession Though it is going to take some time...

ah, am fine. it's just that having to work without my family's support is rather hard. they are rather conventional and conservative, so my turning my back against their definition of 'respectable high paying jobs' is rather a blow to them...i will say i am a a very prodigal child . as i let them down in that aspect already, i simply couldn't bring myself to ask for financial support in times of crisis when i first started my foray into jobs with artistic nature! they may be proud, but so am i in a away i guess.

in the news, it mentioned that Britain was given the cold shoulder when holding back against signing some treaties and amendments for Euro. that's rather harsh, verging to Machiavellian to me... i am of the type that supports the philosophy of NOT throwing good money after bad. why try fix a gush hole on an old wall when it's safer to to build a new one that's more solid? so i am rather inclined to take the side of the United Kingdom when it comes to that decision XD. that may be just me though i applaud the reporter who mentioned in the same news that most people in Britain supports your premier's decision! am rather curious though, of what the other euro countries think of their euros. i wonder if they like it or hate and love it at the same time.

not sure why, but dad's always ended up borrowing historical books for me to read when i was young. he seems to think it's the same as story books i guess...so i read of the the wars between scotland and britain at a veeery young age 8D; all those beheading TvT...what was my dad thinking of anyway, lol

Aww bless you! I wish you well! My parents sound quite similar, they refuse to help me with university and do not support my choice in career which is disappointing...but hey, what to do?

Yeah, we refused to pump more money into Europe so everyone hates us. But to be honest, why should England give Europe more money when we have a financial crisis? We should sort ourselves out first before helping anyone else. Well, that's my opinion.

Thanks, I'm happy you understand our position Our...premier? Do you mean prime minister? And to be honest, I don't think anyone really cares about having the euro because it makes it easier to carry money between countries. Everyone in Europe visits each other But England is too proud to conform. We want our Great British Pound

Oh, you mean our Tudor period history? Our Queen Mary I was nicknamed Bloody Mary because she beheaded so many people (English and Scottish) over religion. Our history is very bloody and violent but so fantastic! Well, maybe I'm biased lol

But England always wins its wars between Scotland and well, with every other country we've been at war with. What's Malaysian history like? We are only taught British history in England so I'm pretty ignorant in world history

nothing much we can do with parents i guess...i heard of one guy that's quit his lawyer practice because he likes drawing, and till he's 40, his parents still view him like he's abnormal TvT...

prime minister, that's the word! my bad, it escaped me for the moment last nite. the 1st word that popped to mind was premier...i wondered why XD;
haha, i guess the Euro is nice in that way then, when it encourages travel and letting everyone know each other better ^^,

yes, me thins too that it's safer to play it safe. after all, things happen rather fast of late, so maybe situations will be different in a few years.

tudor history. mary queen of scots and bloody mary, along with queen elizabeth I and queen voctoria were rather memorable one way or another XD! unfortunate for me that i tend to mix up the names of the kings of spain, france and england, lol. well, some do have recurring names orzlll

our history includes world history, focusing on WWI and WWII, the UN and other international groups, and our own national history. we started with how traders came to our islands, and how trade changed the history of the malay continent. it's rather like the americans making japan open it's closed borders, lol. i recall we did cover some sections regarding the protestant king vs the catholic king (not sure i got it right...but it was a huge uproar concerning divorce), and how rubber arrived in malaysia via the kew's botanic gardens. the extras were read up in snipets by me here and there over the years XD. we covered a lot on the united kingdom, us being a commonwealth as well.

Wow, props to the guy! I think it's kind of sad that parent's try to force their children into professions that they want without any regard to the child My parents want me to go into publishing whereas I want to be a clinical psychologist.

Loool, what do you call the had of your country? Sorry, for the random questions but I love getting to know things about countries that I know little about We aren't taught very much about countries outside Europe and America unfortunately because I adore Asia and its culture so much!

Good Queen Bess (Elizabeth I) was Bloody Mary's sister if I remember correctly, and Mary was married to Philip, the King of Spain and both were Catholic and murdered Protestants. Elizabeth was a Protestant and she is regarded as a saviour for our country in those times. But I know what you mean about reoccurring names! There were eight King Henry's O.o It was Henry VIII that was the Protestant king that you're thinking of. He made the Church of England so that he could divorce his first wife and marry Anne Boleyn.

Oh man, the majority of our history lessons are based around the world wars! Jeez, it's so hard to believe how much they affected England (how much did they affect Malaysia?) and so many other countries! My Great Grandfather died in WWII but there are still many people alive who fought in WWII which is amazing! Your history sounds very interesting! I wish they taught more of foreign history in England

well, the japanese caused havoc in malaysia in much the same way as nanking or beijing i guess, but at a much smaller scale i should say. not that it makes things any easier. i recall they bicycled down to our country and took over just like that, since we were ill prepared for them.

our head of country is the sultan, but the one doing the strong arm in politics is the perdana menteri aka the prime minister. perdana menteri is prime minister in the malay tongue'', i hold your Queen in high esteem, esp when she dons a yellow suit to greet our PM during his visit over there after the Bersih rally debacle we had over here. as long as memory serves me correct, that was the 1st time i saw her don a suit of that colour XD!

if my parent and i are divided into britain's political party, i will say she's a conservative while i am a radical labor. ah well, i guess it could be worse. so i should be thankful that i have domineering law abiding parents that don't smoke pot or ask their child to sell themselves. one of my acquaintances' parent asked her to do just that so she can get married orzlll. i have no idea what goes through her head for her to agree to it with minimal fight!TT well, it goes:'go sleep with him so he will want to take responsibility and marry you' i m like '!!!!---what if he doesn't!?'

yeah, all those king henry's will make mince meat out of my memory drive XD
we have a lot of mansur and mahmud when we studied Malaccan history. it was a toddy getting them right! then when we get the governors to govern us during the british rule, we had to recall who got assassinated where by whom... covers face* sorry, we are rather bloody here to it seems. the only one we almost always got right was the one who got assassinated---in the loo. lol

depends i guess, i listen to practically anything that doesn't invlove a lot of screaming or swear words. classics are fine, but unfortunately, as i work late after work to get my own stuff done sometimes, they send me to sleep, so i turn to dance, contemporary pop, scores by thomas bergersen, e.h.posthumus etc to keep me energized XD

Haha I listen to a lot of that too. Instrumental, less swear words,
lately it's Maroon 5 (Hahaha!) Good music.
Ah yes!! And most Italian dance music is really good to keep your eyes open.
That's about when I turn on the pod cast for ItaliaFM. I get a lot of really
good music references from that station (or stations since you choose your genre).

Elisa Tovati (real name Elisa Touati) was born on March 23, 1976 in Paris, France.
So yup! She's from France! I don't like that either. I like a huge variety but in some
countries it's hard to listen to alternative music or even just rock. I'm all for different
genres but sometimes I feel safe on what I grew up listen to as a teenager. Gotta love rock!

usually i listen to songs i listened to before as i know how the beat goes, so i can time my drawing speed with the song's though of late, the songs i listen to have more variety...
