Description
A Vector that has turned into something other than a Vector?! Meh, i dunno. Anyways, its of Link, from the Legend of Zelda series.Update 6: I've finally finished his damn tunic!!! Yay!!!
Many complications as to why i hadnt finished it earlier, but i finally have. I wouldnt say it was hard, just very time consuming. The shading was what took most of the time, i do it manually. I remember seeing tutorial way back last year, and there was some technique as to how you can have a gradient vector shape... i have no idea whatsoever as to how to do this, so all the blending in this piece, and my previous "Vector-likes (the AC vector didnt have much blending)", has been blended using many other vector shapes. Thats why this piece, so far, is over 5,000 separate pieces of shape things, and thats why i'm taking my time.
Anywho, as was said, i've finally finished the tunic, now i'm onto the Chainmail that he wears under his tunic. Annoying.
Oh and for those wondering, the current amount of shapes total up to: 5,000+

I wouldn't agree, but thank you all the same.
If you're still interested, it has finally been finished.

You sir, are mad. 5000+ vector shapes? I'd be tearing my hair out if I even tried something like that. I'll stick to my pencils thank you very much...

Lol.
To be honest, i'm sure about 500 of those shapes have been covered by newer shapes... but 5,000 separate shapes is too much to sort through.

True, I get confused even if I only have to sort through 20 layers or so, don't even think about 5000...

Methinks Link's face will be pretty simple, but yeah, his hair is going to be tough. Cheers for the comment by the way.
Again, like i said, good to see you're back.

That looks great so far mate, i can't wait to see the finished article. Does it use brushes aswell as the vector shapes? Illustrator or Photoshop?

Oh ello Conn mate.
Apart from the sword, its all vector shapes. The sword so far has been the hardest thing to do, its half vector shapes half brush... but i'll vector it eventually i'm hoping. And i'm doing it on Photoshop at the moment, but hopefully i'll be able to pop it onto Illustrator when i get my copy.

Oh you're Haze, oh my bad. Still, dont mind if i call you mate do you?
Its going to be a legal copy aye, borrowing it off of a mate. I too am looking forward to the finished result, unfortunately, i'm one who easily gives up, and Link's damn clothing is doing my head in.
