I don't know Boom Comics. It was a comic book at chapters that made fun of The Dark Knight returns. QuackerJack was pissed that Negaduck caused the death of his beloved BAnnannahead.
For a comic it was pretty awesome. And it had that classic darkwing humor

Yes, that's the Boom comics. To be fair, though....The first arc WAS awesome. (The one you are talking about.) Then it just slowly declined.

Aww, but I like Quacky's voice. It has that fun and playful side...but can quickly become dangerous. Although, saying that....if Kandel WAS playing Quackerjack, I wouldn't complain. Knowing his voice from both HoND and SoN2, i know he can do both the playful and dark/creepy tones. Makes you want to hear him read QJ's lines. XD

Hey, don't get me wrong, I like QJ's original voice too. I just think having Paul Kandel voice him would take it to a whole new level of epic. Of course, that means the creators would be obligated to give Quacky a solo like they did for DW. Heh, Quackerjack's Court of Miracles.

This is amazing, the lighting and colors just give it a deliciously evil tone.
The background really looks like it might be somewhere magical.

Thank you! I felt that the blue would be a better tone, over a red one. Quackerjack doesn't feel like a red...If that makes any sense. red feels too threatening and murderous. He's trying to lure the victim into his land of cold whimsy. The cool tones reminds me of Tim Burton, actually. Like of Christmas Town, or of the coolness of the mansion in Edward Scissorhands. I think a kid would be drawn more towards that. And yet, us adults, can sense the evil intent. It was a fun balance to try and portray both.
