This picture makes me smile. This expression just... sums up the whole character. You've perfectly depicted the best part of MLP, the God of Chaos, in one water color picture. Dayam.

Hehehe, maybe I should. Granted, I do have a HECK of a time getting things on-model, it does not come nearly so easy for me as it seems to for you. I mean, I can get some Disney characters close enough, but if I try a style I'm very not familiar with, it is really a struggle - or maybe I'm just too lazy, LOL! (And I don't have a lot of time to draw recently - taking a course now, and am often just too tired in the evenings.)
And yes, I know you also have had to practice on new characters a bit, and it may be that I just haven't seen all the images you may have thrown away, but it seems like you quickly adapt to new styles and are able to still put your own flair on them (like big bums stickin' out, heee) without losing the "on-model" part.
But, all that aside, who knows... maybe some day I'll just have to draw Discord, because that design is just too awesome and what I've heard about the character just makes him sound neat.

This is the part where I mention I don't throw away pictures. Nor do I hide them. After many years of being scolded by my mother for ripping up my pictures, and then Moonie also reinforcing this rule...I have pretty much stopped the act. Most of the time when you see me tackling a character you haven't seen me draw before...It is because it is my first try. I think this comes from my many years of drawing all the cartoon shows that I've liked. from fandom hopping like a mo-fo. I also think it helps that I do lots of "practice". As in to say, I draw a little every day.
I really hope you do tackle him eventually. I have the feeling when you do, it'll turn out amazingly.

Oh, I see. This is a good thing. I admit, I don't throw much away literally, it's more like leaving it unfinished - then it gets put away in a folder of unfinished stuff rather than shared.
