~kalavista commissioned this particular pony. She wanted something similar to Meissa, a custom I had made a while ago, but in this pose. Saiph was the result.

Saiph's main symbol is the Orion nebula. Her name, which means "sword," is the name of a star in the Orion constellation. The spiral nebula on her NDS front foot is loosely based on the Rosette nebula. Her hair is a bunch of Dollyhair colors... Black Magick, Starlight, Ultraviolet, After Midnight, and probably others that I've forgotten.
