Description
CONTEST SYNOPSISAs any fan of the Legend of Zelda series can tell you, one of the reasons we keep coming back is for the story. Not just the story of Link and Zelda, but the smaller sidestories and the characters within. In this new contest - participants are asked to tell their own story, whether serious or comical or anything in between... within six panels or less.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
1) Participants must be a member of the Zelda Freak Hall. To join, simply hit the button on our front page. We will check your gallery out - you need to have at least ONE deviation inspired by the LoZ games/ mythos to join, and if it looks good, you're in.
2) Download the template for the comic found here. Participants are REQUIRED to use the template, however, they are allowed to break panels into smaller panels or vice versa, can combine frames. However, participants have to retain the initial shape of the panels.
3) Any artistic medium is allowed. However we will not accept traced works and we WILL report any plagatrized works, aka, rips.
4) Keep your art within the rules of deviantARTβs guidelines. Also, keep in mind that some of the ZFH members may still be the younger sort, so plan accordingly. We're not going to be prudes, but we do ask you keep it at or below PG-13 level.
5) This time, you are allowed FULL creativity. This is YOUR legend. You can be comical; you can be serious. You can have it be a romantic piece, a horror piece - whatever you like. Any character is allowed, any game or something of your own can be used. But most importantly - MAKE IT YOUR OWN AND HAVE FUN.
6) A person can submit up to two entries in this contest, but only one entry can win.
7) The Zelda Freak Hall retains the right to remove any submitted entries for the contest gallery if it is found that a submitter is harassing another entrant. Further, although we are allowing leniency on what is submitted (again, as long as it falls under the dA guidelines), we retain the right to edit and/or block the preview image of the contest entry in the contest gallery. Again, we're not trying to be prudes or step on anyone's constitutional rights - we're just trying to make sure everyone is having a good time.
8) The contest begins on the date of this submission- Saturday, August 07, 2010 and will continue to accept submissions until Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11:59pm, MST. At that time, submission will no longer be accepted. Voting will begin Sunday, January 2 and will conclude one week later on Sunday, January 9, when the winners will be announced.
HOW TO SUBMIT: To avoid confusion on this matter, all you have to do is upload it into your own gallery and then either request us to feature your work OR send us a note. When we get the request/ note we will add it to our gallery!

Once this has been made, can it be submitted to other zelda groups as a normal deviation as well? Or is this the only place the contest entries can be shown off?

I wouldn't mind if you submitted it to other groups, but I would appreciate if in the description you included a link to the contest blog entry in case others wanted to try it out.

I linked to the group but not to the contest blog. I'll go fix that now. ^^
