This reminds me of how we see images at the movies. The shadows may not be real but they certainly are larger than life... and here they make this scene look even more magnificent against the star lit sky than it already does.
Even the grass looks real. It suggests the viewer is lying on their belly so they won't also be killed by Zim, and watching this execution all happen right in front of them.

wow, now afte rmuch considerationa nd the viewing of this fan art i must say i hope Zim doesnt win. I love Zim but this pic really depressed me in a very eerie way. It's awsome, dont get me wrong, i LOVE this pic, but it really touched me.
