Description Yet another piece for   . This works as a companion piece to my previous piece Alaunriia who worships this mighty goddess.
I truly loved designing this character, I took some inspiration from norse mithology and mystique and this is what came out. All done in PScs6

Oddly enough, I get a pleasant Loki vibe from her.

I based her helmet off of Loki's so maybe that's why

Reminiscent of Loki's but still different, you made a good choice.

Great! She reminds me of (the apocryphal, non-canonical) first Eve! She also reminds me of Poison Ivy! I think both are connected to Serpents! I don't know much about Norse mythology, but in Hebrew mythology, there was a first, deliberately wicked Eve whom God replaced, and the first Eve was kicked out of Paradise but she somehow became a goddess. Both Eves are connected with Serpents but the first one especially, and the serpent with the first Eve is also a god in mythology. Is there Serpent worship in Norse mythology? The cunning of the serpent can be turned into wisdom, while his shedding of sKin represents immortality (do you see?). Also, he is a phallic symbol, representing male potency, considering his shape and bite which emits venom (the male doesn't emit poison but sex was thought somehow to shorten men and women's lives, at least in Western, Christian mythology as a punishment for Original sin, hence maybe also similarly in Norse mythology?) I don't know Norse myth that well, but it's a small world, and Norsemen believed in a kind of Hell. And the woman's presence with the serpent represents the Love-Death motif, common in Western Literature and music, in particular German music-drama, related to opera. What dO you think? This painting is GREAT! It has really ignited my imagination, and you are a great imaginative artist who understands myth, whether this is based on a commission or not! You wouldn't have come up with such precise, mythological art, featuring as I said the Love-Death motif, so important to Western myth and literature and art, if you did not yourself possess the knowledge!

did you use a brush for the scales, where can i find them?

I couldn't find a brush so I just took a scale texture from google and using the threshold I made it high contrast, then I just adapted it to the body and redrew some of it

The girl is the goddess, I just envisioned her having giant horned serpents as her companion. Thanks for the comment!
