Green and purple are my favourites, but somehow I don't think I would be able to get away with a purple landscape here

It is a really nice place, this one is a little greener than normal though...I was mucking about with it in Lightroom, I probably should cut the green on the rocks back a little, get it closer to white for a little contrast

it's a bit green, probably a bit too green lol, but meh, I have been in front of this silly computer too long already today, so it can stay green.

it isn't too saturated imo, the vivid green makes it look like something out of a fantasy. I meant doesn't look real in a good way. :3

hehe all good, I normally have to walk about 10 feet away from the screen and get a longer look at it, although with LR you can split the screen to have original and edited side by side, which helps my eyes were going crazy so I walked away for a bit, I had to adjust my screen as well, as the PNG images were still processing wrong...so went back to jpgs
Going to get out and try and find some spiders and bugs today tho (2:43am here now lol)

spiders and bugs shouldn't be too hard for you to find lol. You should go outside now while its dark, with a flashlight - you can actually see the eyes of nearby insects and arachnids glowing. :3
I do it sometimes here and it's just a giant sea of spider eye sparkles

hehe yes, I totally agree there, I have had a few close encounters with all kinds of creepy crawlies at night sometimes, but I am a bit too sleepy to go and do anything constructive at this point now
I found that in Africa too, I would wander about at night in campsites and there were soooooo many eyes there

Where I live we frequently have scorpions crawling all over ;__; I find 2-3 a day inside daily, just from leaving the door open for the dogs for a few mins at a time.. and spiders are so many I don't even notice them anymore.. same with snakes.Β
I love them though

I had a horde of hungry huntsman spider babies invade a few weeks back when the egg case opened. The mother was downstairs in the other bathroom...but the babies were racing around the walls and ceilings all over the house
Scorpions not so much here, although I have seen a few little ones in the sand dunes behind a beach south of here. There is a lot of bushland near me as well, we get some pythons in there and there are also some black snakes which can be nasty if you surprise them, but luckily all our really nasty snakes are not around here.
I love all kinds of critters though, so I am always trying to rescue them when I see them, I don't squish any of them
I used to be a bit more adventurous and catch snakes, which used to freak out my friends when I'd pull a snake out of a bag and say "here, look at this guy" as they all raced off lol...
Where I am going later today, there are lots of creepy things, as well as a dog, 3 cats and 3 rats...so always something going on

We really only have rattlesnakes around here, sadly... many of them. I just throw dirt at them until they scurry off :3Β
Here it's only the mammals people find dangerous, particularly boars and mountain lions.. no one bothers with anything else.
I hope you find some cuteΒ invertebratesΒ toΒ take pictures of!

Aren't they meant to be a bit cranky? and haha that is an interesting mental picture...annoyed rattlesnake getting handfuls of dirt thrown at it
Ah yep, pigs can be a bit random and bad-tempered. There is a mountain range a couple of hours northwest of here where there are quite a few feral pigs that can cause problems...no mountain lions though, maybe some feral cats...
I am sure there will be some spiders and maybe some other critters if I dig around a bit, otherwise I may have to annoy the cats and the dog
Anyhoo, I better run away and try and get some sleep lol... been up for about 18.5 hrs today... I really need to get back to normal sleep patterns...
