I always felt Saren's random Zombie Mode was his 'problem?

It was Sovereign's troll moment, I think - Saren (his soul, spirit, mental identity - or whatever turians have) was long gone by then.
I kind of miss Saren in ME2. The Illusive Man is little more than a quest generator, and Harbinger... well, he just isn't there - so to speak. ME2 is definitely lacking in terms of villains.

We should be able to take over TIM's best lab in ME3 and use it to resurrect Saren and Nihlus... They'll probably kill each other the moment they're awake though. Either that or... they might decide they need to blow off some steam first
