"Don't you think this is just a little bit harsh?" asked Jesse, just before Officer Jenny gagged her.

Team Rocket had only recently began operations in Tyburn City, but so far, every other team had disappeared, never to be seen again. Jesse and James figured that if they could find out what was going on, the boss would be sure to reward them handsomely. Sadly, they were doomed from the start.

After yet another needlessly complicated plan involving massive Pokémon shaped robots, intricate costumes, and a lot of trickery, just a couple of fatal flaws in the execution of the plan caused everything to fall apart. They ended up in their Meowth balloon, about to blast off yet again, but just as the balloon was sent spiraling into the horizon, Jesse fell out. Officer Jenny and her Bulbasaur assistant had quickly caught up to her.

"We don't take kindly to Pokémon rustlers around these parts." explained Jenny. "We've heard of Team Rocket, and we know that your kind doesn't ever learn any lessons, so thanks to your persistance, this is your reward."

Jenny ripped a sheet from a small pad of paper, scribbling a few things down. The Bulbasaur, one of its vine whips already wrapped around Jesse's wrists, seemed to already know what Jenny had written.

"For the high crime of Pokémon rustling, I, Officer Jenny of the Tyburn City Police Department, hereby sentence you to death by hanging. The sentence is to be carried out immediately."

With a snap of Jenny's finger, another vine whip shot out from the Bulbasaur, wrapping tightly around Jesse's neck, and slowly drawing her up into air.

"Damn....I guess Team Rocket won't be blasting off ever again..." thought Jesse as she lost her footing.

Artist's Notes
Well, this one was fun to do. I usually make any intricate backgrounds in many layers, but I tried doing this piece's background all in one layer. I'm not sure if it really helped or hurt it. I also usually use Poser as a guide when I'm doing my lineart, but I decided this one wasn't particularly complicated, so I skipped that step. I had thought about experimenting with cel-shading, but I figured that I still can't really do it very well.
