The Rancor's Tooth #3 Cover.This is my second cover for the Fanzine the Rancor's Tooth by Atrivis Underground Press. If you've actually seen this issue, the cover was cropped from my original entry, this is the full image (well, cropped down some). I had left more space on the top for the title block.
The story behind this image is taken from the book "Tales from Jabba's Palace". It's a collection of short stories about the various beings that make up Jabba's court. One of the stories is about the Rancor and his keeper, Malaki (sp). This would be part of his story where he takes the Rancor topside to let him run around for exercise. It's one of my favorite books and I highly recommend it for anyone, but especially my fellow SW fans!

I admit my inking needs to catch up with my penciling, but I'm happy with it nontheless!

He certainly looks like a huge menacing creature...I love the close up of those evil looking claws, and your inking style is lavish! The keeper himself looks like a serious badass. Oo;;;

Thanks! Yeah, I'm actually pretty happy with this pic. I really need to work on my inking though, but hey I'm a penciler, inking is another guys job!

Thanks, I'm not as confident when I ink a pic. I try, it just doesn't translate as well as my pencils do. I'm glad you liked it though!
