The question is: Who is expressing the "Finally!" remark in your comments? Is it Asterith, the archer-turned-midwife who is relieved that her concoction is starting to take effect? Or is it Sir Odo, who is tired of all this womanly business of birthing babies and is desirous for another threat at which he can apply his ever-ready sword-arm? Or is it our expectant mother herself, who is either pleased with the onset of labor (nine months is a Hell of a long time--pun absolutely intended), or is pleased that said labor is now over and the child is born off frame? Or, is it our friend, the last Garger, who is excited to see his own child emerge with love and light into the world? Or, is it the baby himself, saying in the wailing speech of the extremely young: "Boy, is it good to be outta' there! What's the new neighborhood like? Where's my bicycle?"

I guess they haven't seen the last of them like they thought they did! I hope everyone turns out alright! And looking back on our previous story, I think you might be right. I should've started us off with something everyone else was familiar with, not just us two.
