Description I made these medieval tiles the traditional way, on a ceramics course at uni.
Here some of them are digitally duplicated to produce the effect of a portion of floor. The design is my own, in a medieval style. By the way this also appears in my stock account if anyone wants to use it in a photomanip.

I could eat them for breakfast. I am particulary interested in medieval floor tiles. It's the subject of my master's thesis

You could make them out of chocolate and vanilla fudge. Bad for your teeth, mind you...

Thanks. I went to Uni at Worcester.
Interesting info, by the way, but I believe this sort of tiles came from Western Europe.

He was an artist and the similar ones were seen in sourthern France

thanks. Actually, the dark ones were over-fired, but it's all good. 'Celebrate happy accidents' as the teacher used to say!

My teacher would just say, 'Not again!' ... but my accidents were not happy ones and generally involved a puddle at my feet [Infant school!]
